So, you just finished your 100 million word manuscript and are looking for agents to submit to. You hop on numerous agents’ websites, peruse their submission guidelines, and keep seeing the same dreaded words over and over again: “Agency X does not accept unsolicited manuscripts. Please query our agency first.”
“Oh God!” you scream, “anything but that. I just wrote this 100 million word manuscript and now you want me to sum it up into a paragraph?” It’s enough to make any writer down some blood pressure medication.
Never fear! Literary super agents Nathan Bransford, of Curtis Brown Ltd., and Mary Kole, of Andrea Brown Literary, have published some fabulous posts on how to write a stellar query letter.
