Was very honored to see a five star review written for my novella “Seeing Red!”
The praise came from Georgia Peach Award committee member Melanie C. Duncan. “Seeing Red” was not nominated for the Georgia Peach Award (GPA) but it is extremely honoring to be read and reviewed by a committee member. For those who aren’t familiar, the Georgia Peach Award is a literary award administered by the Georgia Library Association and the Georgia Public Library Service to promote the best and most current young adult literature. Committee members are made up of Georgia teacher-librarians or Georgia public library youth services staff.

–New Author to Auto-buy–
Bridget Jeane breaks from tradition when she casts aside a drunken fiance who almost kills her in a car crash, and accepts a date with the handsome older man who always waited for her to help him at the bank where she worked. But she quickly realizes she might have jumped from the frying pan into the fire, and the decision she makes is stunning for a woman of her time and upbringing. This 1960s period piece almost defies description but captures the era and unveils an ending I didn’t see coming. Surprise!Melanie C. Duncan
