A very Happy New Year to you all! December came and passed pretty quickly. Not only was I enjoying the holiday season, but I got to take a lovely vacation to Western Florida. Taking pictures around the region was quite fun. In addition to visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, I stopped off at the Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. Boy, were there some interesting critters there. Especially their aviary of birds like this owl.
As I walked through the trails of the park, I saw some picturesque sites. Here are some more photos from around the preserve of all the gorgeous scenery and wildlife.

I actually didn’t get to explore the entire park and someday I hope to return. Had to have enough time to run over and photograph the gorgeous beach scenery at St. Pete Beach.
